I love Alex! <3 | | |
| So the semester has ended and I feel like I haven't accomplished much.
There has been some life changes this year so far and I guess most of
them have been great.... but let's see what I've learned:
1. Don't be late to the first day of class.
2. If you skip class, do not- I repeat- DO NOT go see another professor
in the same department as the target professor's office. He WILL see
you and make you talk to him and hate you for the rest of your semester
(including subtracting 12 points from a solitary mid-term question
although you got it PERFECT...asshole).
3. If you panic when your computer crashes, your life revolves TOO MUCH
AROUND YOUR COMPUTER. Train yourself and turn it off for about two
days. Get it fixed in the meanwhile.
4. USE YOUR PUBLIC SPACE to back up your files in case of #3.
5.When doing papers, sign off AIM and if possible, put Facebook.com on
parental restriction. Despite the degree of self-control you CLAIM to
have, it will be melted away by Facebook and AIM.
6.Do not kill your declining balance when you have a whole month left in Lewisburg, PA.
7. The burritos in the Bison are NOT burritos.
8. The fajitas in the Bison are the same as the burritos.
9. Neither the fajitas or the burritos are what they claim to be.
10. Neither is the Chinese food.
11. Avoid 7th Street Cafe and C-Store in the Bison to safely and assuredly comply with #6.
12. If you do plan to go to 7th Street, order the Sex in the Cafe, with an extra shot of coconut. Trust.
13. Clean your fish tank on a regular regimen.
13. Love Bucknell.

| I think I've seen waaaay too many episodes of Top Chef and Project Runway...
Bucknell is so boring when nobody else is here. It's pretty chill though.
Happy Thanksgiving!

| It never ends.
What never ends?
My schedule of death.
Today was supposed to be the conclusion of my schedule of death with the eight papers due over the span of two weeks.
But guess what?
I have to read like 500 pages to make my annotated bibliography for
POLS 254. Then, I have to do my second draft for my POLS 205 class on
top of another writing assignment due next friday for the same class.
You'd think I'd get a break right? For HIST 252, I have to read the
Ivanovich novel and do another paper for Friday-- NOT to mention that
my teacher is an INSANE communist grader. And to top it all off, I have
to study for an exam in EAST 203 for MONDAY and do two translations for
that class.
So let's take a look at my social life for the weekend...hmm WHAT
SOCIAL LIFE? I have to finish these translations for a small
translation job that I acquired, go in for an hour of work at the
Service-Learning Department, figure out my scheduling, meet with my
group for the final research project....
I think I might shoot myself. BTW, I got hired for a second job. But I don't know if it's more of a curse or a blessing.
OH! Did I mention that I am actually doing a paper as I type this?
Yeah, it's something called....it was so due earlier today. Okay. Just
wanted to share my WONDERFUL LIFE.
